| **More information regarding the course**Credits: **8 ECTS**Degree programm**:** <br />Master-degree <br />faculaty business and economics; recommend participation to the students in the 1st semester<br />**Duration of the course:** <br />one semester, 6 SWS<br />**Learning outcomes**:<br />On completion of this students should be able to:<br /> * analyse the strategic choices companies face in the process of internatinalising and their management implications;<br /> * develop a cross cultural approach to management that recognises and uses diversity as a competitive asset;<br /> * apply the key concepts, theories and ideas of international management to the functional challenges that managers face in the global business arena;<br /> * develop cross-cultural skills to facilitate communication, negotiation and management in a global context; and<br /> * develop a range of strategic responses towards organisational structures, recruitment policies and training programmes for international managers.<br />**Grading:** <br />Group Case Study and Presentation (20%)<br />Final written exam (80%)<br />
